Swimpants SP02

The best training aid for those who want to develop their technique.

For many triathletes and swimrun athletes, swimming is their greatest weakness. After working with and helping hundreds of people improve their swimming technique, the question always comes up if there is any really good aid for balance, water position and raising hips and legs during swimming training. Typically, a floating dolme is used, but with the disadvantage that it impairs the body's rotation and the natural balance leg kick. After a longer period of development and testing, Colting Wetsuits can now present an even better alternative to the dolmen, namely the SWIMPANTS SP02!

Our Swimpants are an aid aimed at both the experienced elite swimmer and the happy exerciser who has just started their swimming training. With SWIMPANTS SP02, the swimmer obtains an optimal water position with perfect lift in the hip and thigh without compromising either rotation or balance leg kick! Our Swimpants are already widely used by swimmers who have started their pre-season training indoors to improve their swimming technique and build up their endurance. SWIMPANTS SP02 is also an excellent aid to use during sprint competitions in swimrun or swimming training outdoors in warmer water.

Swimpants SP02 are unisex in size.

SIDE STRETCH

Along the outer side of the legs we added a panel which is 0,8 mm thick with extra stretch in order to increase mobility further both during swimming and running, but not least when getting in and out of the water.

TECHNIQUE IDENTIFIER

With the help of integrated clear lines in the design on the sides of the SWIMPANTS SP02, a trainer can easily discover incorrect techniques or positions in the water of the swimmer.

HIP SEAL

For the ultimate ft around the hips, we’ve developed HIP SEAL TM. An extremely fexible material, which, together with the lacing function, keeps water, out and allows the pants to ft perfectly around the hips.

100% YAMAMOTO SCS SURFACE

In order to be able to use as thin material as possible while still maintaining temperature and surface durability, we have chosen to use a neoprene from Japan of the very highest quality; Yamamoto. Yamamoto is 99.7% impervious to water. We use Yamamoto 39 and 40 for maximum fexibility. The tight structure in the neoprene also means the wetsuit won’t wear out like common wetsuits do.

ALL SEAL

For the ultimate ft around legs, we have placed what we call ALL SEAL, a tighter ft, that keeps water out and allows the suit to ft perfectly around the legs.
