SWIMRUN SR03

The wetsuit is optimized for speed and agility on land. Today, when you talk about wetsuits for Swimrun, you usually talk about the properties of the suits during the run and less about the properties of the suits in the water. The focus of Colting Wetsuit's new wetsuit model SWIMRUN SR03 has therefore been to get a wetsuit that is optimized for speed and agility on land but which at the same time has enough buoyancy to give the user a balanced and optimal position in the water. By changing the structure of our suit from the ground up, we at Colting Wetsuits can now offer one of the market's lightest and most flexible suits for Swimrun. To get maximum flexibility but still sufficient buoyancy, we have chosen to use neoprene of the highest quality and to combine speed with flexibility we have we optimized the suit's design using different thicknesses of neoprene. To get a thin and elastic suit around the hips and thighs and to optimize buoyancy, we have integrated so-called POWER THIGH. POWER THIGH are panels placed on the thighs made of a water-resistant natural rubber that has incredible buoyancy while not absorbing water. By using integrated power thighs, you get optimal balance and water position while raising your hips and legs even if you wear shoes during a swimrun session.

The SWIMRUN SR03 has several other features that help the swimrun practitioner:

• To get an easier and more efficient running step, SWIMRUN SR03 has a thinner material around the hips and thighs.
• To reduce friction, SWIMRUN SR03 has a neoprene with a different structure in the crotch area.
• To reduce wear, SWIMRUN SR03 has a coarser material on the back of the thighs and legs.
• SWIMRUN SR03 has larger pockets for easier and safer carrying of the things that may be useful during a swimrun session. To maintain the low weight even when the suit is wet, pockets have been supplemented with water drainage holes.
• SWIMRUN SR03 has a zipper both front and back to be able to quickly "take down" the suit.
• With the help of what we call optimal freedom bouyancy, where you combine the suit SWIMRUN SR03 together with our swimcalfs SC02, we want to bring back the feeling of freedom where everything started around the sport. Swimrun has grown into a sport with room for creativity regarding materials and accessories. During competitions, you usually see Swimrun practitioners with ropes, paddles, flotation devices and various other aids where the focus is more on what aids you have and how to get from one point to another in the fastest and best way.
• With the help of our swimcalfs SC02 and our suit SR03 with extra buoyancy on the thighs, we hope to rediscover the feeling of freedom that existed when the sport was new. Where the participants without life jackets and arms free from a lot of aids can make their way through forests and over seas in an unhindered way.
