As the sport of swimrun celebrates 20 years in 2026 we remember the earlyyears. And we honor its legacy. I´m a journeyman stemming from the humble beginnings of this grassroot sport and I have been deeply influential in shaping the development of specific swimrun equipment. From the early cut-off triathlon wetsuits to liquid bladders to calf floatation and hand paddles.

Swimrun is a sport of no limits. And of innovation. Colting Wetsuits have been at the pointy end of the sword from day 1. And the SR04 Legacy is the accumulation of all the knowledge and all the hard earned experience going back 20 years. 20 years of legacy.

SR04 Legacy is the next-generation Swimrun wetsuit — developed for maximum speed, flexibility, and comfort both in the water and on land. Built upon the popular SR03 model, we have made major upgrades to create an even lighter, faster, and more flexible wetsuit for modern Swimrun racing and training.

The new SR04 Legacy introduces a heavily redesigned look inspired by our flagship triathlon wetsuit, the T05 Legacy, featuring a sleek and aggressive black and silver design.

The focus during development has been clear: faster running without compromising swim performance. To achieve this, the legs are now significantly thinner and more flexible, promoting a lighter and more natural running stride during long and technical Swimrun races.

Since most Swimrun athletes today use a pull buoy during the swim sections, we have removed the previously integrated extra buoyancy elements. The result is a lighter and more agile wetsuit with improved freedom of movement and an even better running experience.

We have also shortened the front zipper to increase flexibility across the chest and torso while eliminating the stiffness that longer zippers can create during both swimming and running.

The redesigned neck construction has been specifically developed to minimize chafing and irritation — especially during long races and in saltwater conditions. The neck area is now softer and more adaptive while still maintaining a secure and watertight fit.

SR04 Legacy is constructed using premium Yamamoto neoprene and advanced panel construction to deliver the perfect balance between flexibility, durability, and low weight. The result is one of the market’s most agile and running-oriented Swimrun wetsuits.

SWIMRUN-OPTIMIZED CONSTRUCTION
SR04 Legacy is designed to perform equally well on the trails as in the water. The updated construction provides maximum freedom of movement while running while still offering the buoyancy and body position needed for efficient swimming.

EXTREME FLEX™
With thinner neoprene around the hips, thighs, and legs, the wetsuit delivers a more natural running stride and an unrestricted feeling even during long running sections and technical terrain.

100% YAMAMOTO LIMESTONE
We exclusively use Yamamoto neoprene from Japan — the world leader in premium neoprene for superior flexibility, minimal water absorption, and maximum durability. The material delivers a lightweight and adaptive feel while maintaining warmth and long-term performance.

ANTI CHAFING NECK
The updated neck design has been specifically engineered to reduce friction and chafing, even during long Swimrun races in saltwater conditions.

SMART STORAGE
SR04 Legacy features large and easily accessible pockets for safe storage of energy, mandatory equipment, and accessories during racing. The pockets are equipped with water drainage holes to minimize additional weight when wet.

DUAL ZIPPER SYSTEM
The wetsuit is equipped with both front and back zippers, allowing you to quickly ventilate and unzip the suit between swim sections.

SIZE
All our Swimrun wetsuits are available in both Men’s and Women’s models. Please study the size chart carefully and choose your size based on both height and weight for the best possible fit and performance.
